What are Open Caption Films?

Open-captioned movies ensure that all people can enjoy films, including the hearing-impaired. The producers of the captions, make every effort to include the captions for all the dialogue in a movie, as well as significant sound effects and song lyrics. Please note that editorial decisions are sometimes made not to include song lyrics as they may detract from the important action or visual impact that is taking place on the screen.
